Best real food in town. Hands down there is no competition if you want great soul food this is the place to go. Great service and the food it always on point.

Fried Pork chops was on point!! The cabbage was bomb pork chops was cooked to order. they weren’t sitting around in the pan waiting. There was cooked fresh and hot on demand and I loved it. Friendly service and a clean restaurant I will be back!!

We stopped by and tried Papa James’ today and let me tell you, they showed out!!! It’s a meat and two sides. There were several options for both. The food was hot and so so delish!! The ladies in here today were so kind and helpful, we chose to stay and eat. We will be back! Best home cooked meal I’ve had in a while! Reminds me of my Nannie’s house for Sunday dinner! If you’re ever in Jonesboro this is a must try!!!

Found this on a whim and was not disappointed. Food was delicious, brought some pork chops home to Pops, and ate them in record time. The owners were wonderful! Can't wait to go back when I visit!
